A belief in the importance of sustainable consumption and in the ethical treatment of all people leads us to choose certain approaches to fully realizing our designs. For example, we have spent years researching and sourcing reclaimed woods for use in millwork and furniture. In addition to the benefits of recycling, it carries with it a richness and sense of history that’s different from using a new product. We are eager to employ many of the emerging Green technologies as another way to make a positive difference toward sustainable consumption.

We also pay attention the labor practices of both domestic and the foreign companies whose products we design and or specify. Given a choice, we choose companies that uphold fair labor practices.   And run their companies with honesty and integrity. We strive to be socially responsible by practicing sustainable consumption

Similarly, we have established working relationships with weavers, glass blowers, furniture makers, metal fabricators and many other artisans in order to deliver hand-crafted excellence to our clients. In this age of automated manufacturing and mass production, we honor and support the heritage of creating beautiful things by hand.
